Tazio Reporting makes sense of your data, giving you the insight needed to optimise your recruitment process, employee engagement or development programs.
System Reports are a selection of pre-defined reports giving you easy access to your most commonly used data. User Reports are bespoke reports
you create through the Report Builder tool. Custom Reports are advanced reports, created exclusively for you by Tazio.
To get started, open the Reporting screen by clicking on 'Reporting' in the left-hand main menu. This will open the Reporting screen as shown below.
You will see a list of available Reports. You can filter the Report List by Type - System, User or Custom and search for a specific report by name.
Running system reports
To run a System Report, simply find the report you want to run and from the Actions menu, click 'Run Report'. This will run the report and display the results on a new screen. From here you can review the data on screen, download a PDF version of the report, or export the
raw data as a CSV file.
If the selected report allows you to define 'Runtime Data', for example - limit the data displayed to results between two dates, you will be able to enter the runtime data and then run the report.
You can change the runtime data and re-run the report. For example, you could run the report showing all applications in February and then change it to show the results for January.
Creating user reports
To create your own User Reports, click on the orange "Create Report" button in the top right hand corner of the screen. This will open the Report Builder screen below.
On the first screen you can give your report a name and description. Both of these appear on the finished report you export to PDF or download to CSV.
You can now add "Conditions" to filter the data you want returned in your report. For each Condition you can select from 4 primary types - Applications, Assessments, Candidates and Groups. Then select a field for that type and add a qualifier.
For example, if you wanted to filter your data to only include assessments with a start date after 1 February 2016, your first condition could be 'Assessments' > 'Assessment Start Date' > 'is after' > 01.02.2016.
You can add other conditions to filter your data further. These can be either 'And' or 'Or' conditions. So here, you might add a second 'And' condition of 'Assessments' > 'Assessment Start Date' > 'is before' > 01.03.2016. This would then filter your report to only show assessments with start dates in February 2016.
Selecting the 'Define at Runtime' option allows you to select the criteria each time you run your report. For example, if you select define at runtime for the before and after dates, you can save the report and easily change the two dates each time you run the report.
Once you've added all the filter conditions you need, click on the 'Next Step' button and you will see the screen below.
On this screen you can add tables to your report and select the columns you want displayed in each table. Give your table a name and then select the data you want displayed in each column from the dropdown list. Note, you can filter the dropdown list by
typing in the first few letters of the field you want.
With the fields you want added to the table, you can generate a preview of your report by clicking the 'Preview Report' button. A preview including the first 5 rows of data will be displayed on the right of the screen. This allows you to check the validity of your report.
When you're happy with the report, click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the screen and your report will be saved and added to the list of available reports. You can then run your report at any time in the same way as a System Report.
Although the Report Builder is extremely flexible and allows you to create some very detailed reports, there are some more complex reports it's not capable of generating. In these instances, for a small one off charge we are happy to create a Custom Report exclusively for you.
